Our annual Block Party will return to Montgomery Street on June 7, 2025! Learn more here and join us for an afternoon of fun. This year’s event will be honoring longtime activist Jovita Fontanez and feature live entertainment, food & drinks, and a silent auction.
Haley House’s annual Block Party is a celebration of the Haley House community, our South End neighborhood, and the beginning of summer in Boston.
Every year, our community gathers on Montgomery Street in front of our Soup Kitchen on the first Saturday in June for an afternoon of fun and friends.
All proceeds from this special event support our many Haley House programs.
The Block Party always features food, entertainment, and activities for kids. Take a stroll down Montgomery Street in front of our Soup Kitchen and meet neighbors, experience musical and dance performances, grab a snack, check out our silent auction, and enjoy a summer afternoon with the Haley House community!
Some of our previous partners include local acts JP Honk, Floor Lords, and Community Music Center of Boston! We hope you’ll join us for valuable time spent in community.
The Block Party silent auction features a variety of exciting items and experiences, with a focus on businesses in our neighborhood of the South End. In past years, auction winners have walked away with a pottery classes, a seaside getaway, Red Sox tickets, gift cards to Blackbird Doughnuts, Myers & Chang, The Elephant Walk, and so much more!

Haley House uses food with purpose and the power of community to break down barriers between people, empower individuals, and strengthen neighborhoods. We believe in radical solutions: solving problems at their root by challenging attitudes that perpetuate suffering and building alternative models.
