Life Foundations Training (LiFT) is a safe space and community for those facing barriers after incarceration. This community meets regularly to share meals and build relationships with supportive allies. The intention of LiFT is to find and create opportunities for people striving to turn their lives around.
Our Life Foundations Training (LiFT) program is designed to offer a safe space for those looking to build community and resources while transitioning back into life after incarceration.
LiFT meets regularly to prepare and share a meal. The community shares in the preparation of creating a home cooked meal and sharing that meal. During this time together LiFT attendees are encouraged to be in community.
Intended group sizes 8-12/week.
LiFT is returning for four bi-weekly drop-in sessions just in time to close out the year. You can register here or come by 12 Dade Street in Roxbury for any of the following sessions:
Haley House uses food with purpose and the power of community to break down barriers between people, empower individuals, and strengthen neighborhoods. We believe in radical solutions: solving problems at their root by challenging attitudes that perpetuate suffering and building alternative models.
