People helping people.

That's what Haley House is all about. Fostering relationships. Connecting. Sharing. Backgrounds and hierarchy melt away. We are all one. Moving toward a common goal. Mutual respect for all.

Haley House Bakery Café

What is your role at Haley House?
I am the Director of Wholesale and Transitional Employment. Also, I over see catering and assist in cafe management.

What brought you to Haley House?
After 15 years of incarceration, I came to HH's door in the hope finding a job, one filled with responsibility and meaning. I ended up getting another family and finding my life's purpose.

Favorite dish at HHBC, Soup Kitchen or Noonday Farm?
As the resident vegetarian, I love our chicken quesadilla with a side of homefries...

Favorite downtime activity?
My favorite downtime hobby by far is spending time with my fiance (Maria) and our five children; Tati, Bianca, Victor, Luis, and Isabella.

Favorite or most memorable HH moment?
With the help of 14 volunteers from Boston Cares and every member of the cafe, we provided catering on a Saturday for multiple events at multiple locations to the tune of $7,000 and nearly 2000 meals. What made this so remarkable, there was a time when this type of accomplishment would have been unthinkable and "beyond our abilities".
